Responsible for all aspects of this full-service landscape, estate management and hurricane clean-up company and four acre plant nursery employing 30 full-time staff. Two time winner, ABest of State@ Landscape Maintenance Award from The Florida Nurserymen & Growers Association (competitors included Disney Village, Busch Gardens, Hyatt Orlando). Selected from 13 bidders, including national contractors, as the primary contractor for emergency debris management for The Town of Palm Beach. Recognized and rewarded by Florida Construction, Commerce & Industry Insurance Group, Florida=s largest workers compensation carrier, and by the Florida Retail Federation, as maintaining a Safe & Drug-Free Workplace since the programs were instituted in 1993. Awarded the best possible Aexperience rating@ in the industry as a result of the company=s safety record, employee training program, random drug testing and routine audits of company practices by trained, insurance specialists unaffiliated with the company. Managed all aspects of this full service retail lawn equipment sales and service company. Trained staff in the use and demonstration of commercial and residential lawnmowers, weedeaters, chainsaws, edgers.
